One of the most abundant birds across North America, and one of the most boldly colored, the Red-winged Blackbird is a familiar sight atop cattails. “Blackbird Eggs” are typically pale blue-green with light rusty or brown spots, laid in nests made of dry grass and twigs, often lined with mud. We’ve been inspired by these beautiful eggs with a blend of blackberry, apple and sage.
