Why Goat's Milk?

Goat's milk is naturally high in vitamins, minerals, proteins, and alpha-hydroxy acids that nourish and rejuvenate the skin. Goat's milk also has a pH close to skin's natural pH resulting in a mild, non-irritating, and highly moisturizing soap for even the most delicate of skins. The Spirit Goat uses 100 percent fresh goat's milk; the milk is not diluted with water like most other milk-based soaps.

Why Shea Butter?
 
Shea butter comes from the nut of the karite tree in West Africa. The nuts are collected by local village women who have been extracting the butter for generations to beautify the skin and hair. Shea butter helps reduce facial lines, minor scars, dry skin, blemishes, and bumps.  It also helps maintain moisture and skin softness.

Why Handcrafted Skin Care Products?

Handcrafted skin care products generally do not contain harsh, irritating chemicals commonly found in factory-made products.  Instead, they contain nourishing, natural oils that benefit the skin.  In addition, we do not remove the natural glycerin from our soaps; a common practice among larger companies.
